Drink up 007 – 30th September 2012—
Tio Pepe Fino En Rama (Tanners Wine, £13.95) With bread and nut like aromas, it’s powerfully dry and tangy with nutty and umami intensity, superb wit salted almonds.
Tesco Finest Saint Mont 2010 (Tesco, £6.99) A decent alternative to Sauvignon Blanc, this zippy white has a lemony lift and is one to serve guests for something a little off the beaten track.
Château Teyssier 2007 Puisseguin-Saint-Emilion (Majestic, £9.99) Earthy, truffly and austere, it’s a layered and savoury red that’s perfect with a roast.
Bollinger 002 for 007 (Harrods, £150) Released to commemorate the release of Skyfall, this is a richly complex fizz with impeccably delicate bubbles and a hoard of stimulating flavours. Totally Bond.
